“Nobody wants” dog parks

There’s an article in today’s WoMag about dog parks.

Residents may recall previous discussions to have dog parks, most recently a couple of years ago.  I blogged about it a couple of times (1, 2), and Noah had written a long piece about a proposal at Cookson Field.

I have no energy to invest in the debate right now, but let’s not forget that folks were ready and willing to talk about a dog park in 2010, and that many people wanted a dog park then.  The Open Space planning meetings could be a first step in starting those discussions again.  Let’s not squander another opportunity to talk about this and engage people in bettering their community.

you have to organized and get someone to first get the city to change their uninforcable law on “not allowing dogs in parks” . the city just like to give everyone the runaround until people just go on with their lives and the city stays in the 19th century
