Tomorrow, Thursday, December 6, at 6 PM at City Hall’s Levi Lincoln Room (3rd floor) will be a meeting of the final MOA between the City, CSX and the Dept of Transportation. The purpose of the meeting is to begin creating a plan for how the accrued container cost dollars should/will be spent. It’s a dollar for every container going in or out of CSX over the next 20 years.
UPDATE: This is happening, but not open to the public.
But you know what is open to the public? The Board of Election Commissioners, which is meeting at Room 401 at 6:00pm today. The best entertainment you can get without a ticket!

And MassDOT will have a public hearing on the McKeon Road Sidewalk Construction project on Wednesday, December 19, at 7:00pm at the Holy Cross Hogan Center.
The McKeon Road sidewalk construction project begins at Holy Cross Stadium and extends 4,242 linear feet (0.80 miles) to Butler Street. The project involves sidewalk construction, lighting installation and minor roadway work. The existing usable shoulder meets bicycle accommodations in accordance with applicable design guides.
