Anticipatory CWW: Lunchtime Power Bird Watch

Mass Audubon will be hosting a free program called 20 in 20 — Lunchtime Power Bird Watch on Wednesdays in May (beginning this Wednesday, May 4):

Location:Newton Hill, Worcester
Instructor: Alex Dunn – Birder and Natural History Guide

Join us each Wednesday in May for a lunchtime “power bird” as we take a brief walk through Newton Hill to look for warblers, thrushes, and tanagers as well as all the breeding species that become active this time of year. Can we see 20 species in 20 minutes? Wear walking shoes and get some fresh air on your lunch break.

Instructions and Directions: This program is free; donations are greatly appreciated.

Registration not required.

Mass Audubon also offers birding on Friday mornings at BMB.  And on Sunday, May 15, there will be a free day of paddle boating at Institute Park.
