The inimitable Jo Hart let me know that tomorrow there will be a meeting regarding the Burns Bridge (the bridge on Route 9 between Worcester and Shrewsbury).
From the website:
On Wednesday, September 8, 2010, MassDOT will conduct the MEPA (Massachusetts Environmental Protection Act) site walk and scoping meeting. The site walk and scoping meeting will run from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The site walk begins at the Al Fearn Boat House at 10 North Lake Avenue in Worcester. Individuals looking to participate in the site walk are requested to RSVP to Stephanie Boundy. The scoping session will take place at the Worcester Technical High School at One Skyline Drive, also in Worcester. Following the scoping session, members of the project team will lead a public involvement meeting beginning at 6:30 PM. This meeting will be held in the same room as the scoping session. For more information, please see the meeting brief, meeting notice or meeting pamphlet.
I would love to attend, but I believe my marriage would be in peril if I did so. Is anyone interested in attending and taking notes?
