The Worcester Police just tweeted the following:
Naturally I was concerned that some young girls have been out working the streets, and I clicked onto the press release.
Imagine my surprise when the press release referred to them not as girls, but as “females”, and that their ages were 23, 27, and 41.
While I’m sure the ladies were flattered that @WorcesterPD still considers them young, I’m equally sure that their “just girls” status didn’t prevent the authorities from charging them as adults.
Funny, I feel a song coming on…
